'Natya Kala Booshanam' Smt. Ramya Suresh, the 'Next Gen' dance artiste is the eldest daughter of Guru Smt. Latha Ravi. From childhood, she had a flair for dance and was rightly groomed by her mother Smt. Latha Ravi and her grandmother Smt. Chitra Narayanan. Her post graduate degree in Bharathanatyam shows her commitment and love for the art. She has completed her lower grade technical exam in Bharathanatyam with first class.
Smt. Ramya Suresh is a leading artiste in the thematic productions of ‘Bharatha Natyalaya’. She has performed in various temples like Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, Perur Pattiswaram, Srirangam, Thanjavur Rajarajeswaram, Samayapuram, Vaitheeswaran koil, Srisailam, Guruvayur, Pillaiyar patti and Mangadu. She has exhibited her dancing skills in festivals like Thirupath Alarmel Mangha Brahmotsavam, Thirupathi Nathaniranjanam, Chinnamelam, Ooty flower show, Elagiri summer festival, Karur Bharatha Munivar holy tribute, Sripuram Sri Narayani peedam, Mamallapuram dance festival, Pondicherry cultural program, Kadalur dance festival. She has danced in programmes conducted by Indian Council for Cultural Relations(ICCR), Kanchipuram Mandala kalai panpattu maiyam and Karnataka Kolar Gold Fields. She has travelled to South Africa and has given many performances there. She has participated in Jaya Tv’s ‘Thaka Thimi Tha’, Sun TV’s ‘Thilana Thilana’ and Raj TV’s ‘Eena Meena Dheeka’ and won prizes. She has also performed in many sabhas like Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Indian fine arts society, Mylapore fine arts, Bharthiya Vidya bavan, Daasyam, Natyanjali trust and so on.
 
Awards find a way to her and she has received many like ‘Natya Kala Booshanam’, ‘Natya Tharagai’ and ‘Padhma Bharathi’. Smt. Ramya Suresh has carved a niche for herself in the genre of Bharatanatyam as a performer, teacher and choreographer. She has completed arangetram for 8 students. She has also groomed 6 batch of students to take up the Lower grade government technical exam on Bharathanatyam, all of whom passed with first class. Her disciples get a holistic view of the various aspects of dance art – practical, theoretical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

Smt. Supprasanna Ravi is a leading artiste in the thematic productions of ‘Bharatha Natyalaya’. She has performed in various temples like Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, Srirangam, Thiruvanaikaval, Samayapuram, Vaitheeswaran koil,Thiruvaroor, Thiruvidaimarudur, Srisailam and Guruvayur. She has exhibited her dancing skills in festivals like Thirupathi Nathaniranjanam, Chidambaram natyanjali,, Mayuranatyanjali,Thirunalaru Iyyarpar Natyanjali, Kumbakonam natyanjali, Ooty flower show, Mamallapuram dance festival, Javadhumalai kodai vizha and Rishikesh Gayathri ashramam.
 
She has danced in programmes conducted by Indian Council for Cultural Relations(ICCR). She has travelled to South Africa and has given many performances there. She has participated in Jaya Tv’s ‘Thaka Thimi Tha’, Sun TV’s ‘Thilana Thilana’, Kalaignar TV’s ‘Kalai Kovil’, Makkal TV’s ‘Aadal Arasi’ , Podhigai TV and Raj TV’s ‘Eena Meena Dheeka’. She has also performed in many sabhas like Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Indian fine arts society, Mylapore fine arts, Bharthiya Vidya bavan, Daasyam, Natyanjali trust, Salangai Oli sabha, Vipanchee, Sangeethanjali cultural academy, Kala rasana and so on.
 
Smt. Supprasanna Ravi has a steady growth in her artistic career and has won many accolades in addition to several prizes and awards. ‘Natya Tharagai’ by Salangai Oli Sabha, ‘Bala Rukmini’ and ‘Elam kalaignargal’ by Iyal Isai nadaga mandram are some of the awards to this young artiste. Her performances are always steeped in the traditional style she follows.

Smt Supprasanna Ravi

'Natya Tharagai' Smt. Supprasanna Ravi is the youngest daughter of Guru Smt. Latha Ravi. True to her lineage and tradition she has been fortunate to have been trained intensively by her mother and grandmother. Even as a teenager, Supprasanna started mentoring students on this art form. She has completed her lower grade technical exam in Bharathanatyam and Carnatic music with first class. Supprasanna has completed her MBA degree in Finance but 'Bharathanatyam' is close to her heart.
